Rocket Plumber

“Rocket engines are really all about the plumbing” – Scott Manley

Welcome to Rocket Plumber, a spaceship and rocket engine simulation game with an emphasis on its detailed fluid flow model!

Play “Explorer Mode”, where you fire your engines to perform manoeuvres in space and encounter randomly generated ships. You must salvage parts and fuel from these ships to keep yourself moving, and the further and faster you go the better rocket parts you will find! There is also a learning system with both in-game and sandbox tutorials to make the game more accessible.

The game is in the very early stages of development, and has been built with the high-performance programming language Julia. I have been focusing on getting the fluid mechanics implemented, along with the space map, and enough components to build basic engines and get your ship moving! It is still far from finished, with a lot of work left to do on fleshing out the gameplay and improving the UI.

Feel free to check out the games source code, or download a release build from GitHub. You can also check out the developer blogs to follow the game’s progress!
